Chile: EPU 2012

Conheci este vinho em maio de 2013, safra 2009. Na época se apresentou um vinho muito intenso, com muita madeira e baunilha.

Esse 2012 está menos concentrado que o 2009, embora ainda escuro. Menos madeira e baunilha. Frutinhas, chocolate e incenso (!!!). Boa acidez e taninos nervosos ainda mas achei interessante, num conjunto que repete as frutas e o chocolate na boca, e algo "salgadinho" inesperado. Ainda dorme bem... Belo vinho!

Esse é o segundo vinho da Almaviva, ou o outro vinho da Almaviva. Não se apegue nessa discussão boboca e aprecie-o. Sugiro comprá-lo, se possível, no Chile.

The first time I had this wine was in may 2013, it was the 2009. On that time it was a very intense and wooded wine, dark, powerful. 

This one is less wood and vanilla, more fruit and chocolate. Even incense. Good and well noticed acidity, hard but interesting tannins surrounding more fruits and chocolate. In the end salt. Still young but can be drinked right now, if you are a patient one, drinking slowly. Nice!!!
